Simba packing charges, weight by weight

On a 1 tola bar that is Rs. 800 less than the ARY charge for exactly the same quantity of 24K gold. On the 10 tola bar neither brand charges anything, so the two land at the same price.

Resale

We buy Simba bars back at the buy-back rate for the weight class, no packing deducted. If you intend to sell to several dealers rather than back to us, ask them first — some smaller shops price unfamiliar brands more cautiously, which is the one argument for paying ARY's higher packing charge.

How every price on this page is worked out

There is no separate price list to go stale. Each figure is calculated the moment the page loads:

Gold value = the bar's own rate per tola × its weight in tola.
You pay = gold value + the packing charge for that brand and weight.

Two rates are in play, because that is how bars actually trade here. Bars from 1 gram up to 100 grams — including half tola, 1 tola, 2 tola, 1 ounce and 5 tola — are priced on the small bar rate. The 10 tola bar is priced on its own 10 tola rate, which is lower per tola, and it carries no packing charge from either mint. Both are shown at the top of this page.

A tola is 11.664 grams, so a 10 gram bar is 10 ÷ 11.664 = 0.857 tola of gold, plus packing. Change either rate at the counter and every affected bar on the site changes with it, in the same second.

Packaging and verification

Verification features vary by brand and size. Simba smaller bars are packaged with a tamper / void indication and carry a unique serial number and a QR code. ARY Millat small bars are sealed with a tamper / void indication, but carry no individual serial number and no QR code — the packaging is what you inspect. Do not accept packaging that has been opened, tampered with, or whose tamper / void indication has been triggered. Both 10 tola bars are supplied unpacked, with a unique serial number and a QR code.

Serial numbers and QR codes are verification methods where provided; a QR code alone does not prove a bar is genuine, and should be checked through the manufacturer's own system. See the bar verification page.
