On the packaged sizes the charge covers the mint's sealed card and the assay details printed on it. It is charged once, at purchase, and it is not deducted again when you sell the bar back to us. The 10 tola bar is not packaged and carries no packing charge.

Checking an ARY bar

What you check depends on the size. ARY Millat small bars are sealed and carry a tamper / void indication on the packaging, but no individual serial number and no QR code — so the packaging is what you inspect. The ARY 10 tola bar is not sealed or packed; it carries a unique serial number and a QR code, which can be checked through the manufacturer's own verification system.

ARY 10 Tola Gold Bar

The ARY 10 tola gold bar is the largest weight ARY supplies, and the one most customers and jewellers in Islamabad simply call a piece. It holds 116.64 grams of 24K gold — ten tola at 11.664 grams each.

Two things set it apart from the smaller ARY sizes. It is priced on our 10 tola bar rate rather than the small bar rate, and it carries no packing charge at all. That combination makes the ARY 10 tola gold bar price the lowest cost per gram of any ARY bar we sell — today's figure is in the price list above.

It is also supplied differently. The 10 tola bar is not packed or sealed; it carries a unique serial number and a QR code instead, which is what it is checked against. The bar verification page sets out exactly what to look at.

ARY Millat Gold Bars

Millat is the name ARY uses for its smaller gold bars — the weights below 10 tola. They run from 1 gram up to 100 grams and cover every size in the price list above except the piece.

ARY Millat gold bars are supplied sealed in the mint's packaging, with a tamper or void indication. They do not carry an individual serial number and they do not carry a QR code, so the packaging itself is what you inspect: unopened, undamaged, and with the tamper indication untriggered. Do not accept a bar whose packaging has been opened or whose void marking has been set off.

On price, Millat bars sit on our small bar rate and carry the ARY packing charge for their weight — Rs. 2,500 on most sizes, Rs. 2,000 on the 10 gram and 1 tola bars. ARY 1 tola gold bar

The 1 tola Millat bar — 11.664 grams of 24K gold — is the most commonly bought size in this market, and the easiest to sell on again. Many customers and jewellers here call a bar of this kind a gold biscuit or a sona bar; both are colloquial trade terms rather than anything printed on the packaging.

Like the other Millat weights it arrives sealed with a tamper or void indication and carries no individual serial number and no QR code, so the packaging is what you check. ARY or Simba gold bars — which to choose

The gold is the same: 24K in both cases. The practical differences are brand recognition — ARY is the name most Pakistani buyers know — and the packing charge, where Simba is lower on most weights. If you plan to resell to a wide range of dealers, ARY is the safer default. If you are buying purely on cost per gram, compare both tables for the weight you want.

How the ARY gold bar price is worked out

Nothing on this page is typed in by hand. Each figure is calculated when the page loads:

Gold value = the rate that applies to that bar × its weight in tola.
You pay = gold value + the ARY packing charge for that weight.

Two rates are in play. ARY Millat bars, 1 gram to 100 grams, are priced on our small bar rate and carry packing. The ARY 10 tola gold bar is priced on the 10 tola rate, which is lower per tola, and carries no packing charge at all — which is why the piece works out cheapest per gram.

A tola is 11.664 grams, so a 10 gram Millat bar is 10 ÷ 11.664 = 0.857 tola of gold plus packing. Change either rate at the counter and every ARY price on this page moves with it, in the same second.
