How the silver rate becomes a bar price
Each family has its own rate per tola, and the bar price is that rate multiplied by the bar's weight in tola. A 1 tola bar is one tola of metal; a 10 tola bar is ten; a kilogram bar is 85.734, because a tola is 11.664 grams. Nothing else is added at the counter — no separate packing line, no commission.
Because the rates are set separately, the per-tola figure is the honest way to compare weights. The table above shows it alongside the whole-bar price for exactly that reason.
999 silver and what the marking means
Branded bars carry their purity on the packaging. Reni, our raw silver, is 99.9% — the same metal grade, without the wrapper or the marking. A sealed bar is worth the extra at resale precisely because a buyer can read the weight and purity without testing anything.
Which weight to buy
- 1 tola RGL — the smallest step, and the easiest to sell on singly.
- 5 tola RGL — fewer transactions for the same holding.
- 10 tola PSL — the long-standing standard here, QR coded.
- 1 kilogram — bulk, one bar, one transaction.

Bars or raw silver?
A bar carries a brand and packaging, which makes resale quick because weight and purity are already marked. Reni — raw silver at 99.9% carries neither, and no packing charge with it. Which suits you depends on whether you plan to hold sealed metal or work it.
Buying and selling
Message us before travelling for larger quantities — silver moves in bulk and we do not always hold every weight at the counter. We buy silver bars back at the buying rate for that product; see selling bullion to us.

Are all silver bars priced on the same rate?
No. RGL small bars, the PSL 10 tola bar and 1 kg local-brand bars each have their own rate. Raw silver, Reni, is separate again.
Which silver bar is best value?
Per tola, the larger bars generally work out better, because the manufacturing cost is spread over more metal. Compare the rate per tola column in the table above — it makes the difference visible.
Do silver bars carry a packing charge?
Silver bars are quoted as one price per bar, worked out from the rate for that product. Nothing separate is added at the counter.
